Message from Tempestad:
First & foremost, I would like to thank all who supported
me in my return to the tablao since my car wreck last December. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to
welcome new ones to the Houston Flamenco family. I will forever be grateful to all those who stuck by me through this
very trying & difficult time in my life. Your support, loyalty & encouragement for me to get back on my feet
meant the world to me!
Special thanks to my family...most importantly, Mama Flamenca!, because without Mama
none of this would be possible for not only me, but for so many of us who adore flamenco!...to all of our AMAZING students...it
makes me so proud to see you LIVE flamenco...to Lucia & Val for being our special guests at such a significant event,
& to all our wonderful aficionados & friends!

Cuadro La Tempestad will
be back at Cafe Byblos on Wednesday, July 29, 2009! We are very excited to be introducing two new flamenco artists to
Houston. Guillermo Serpas, guitarrista, will be joining the Cuadro, & Marisol Monasterio will be making her cante
debut!
