MIDDLE EASTERN MAKE-UP & COSTUME WORKSHOP:
Sunday, July 13th 3-5pm
Learn the basics of theatrical make-up application and
costuming for performance. This workshop is designed to familiarze the student with various application techniques of make-up
for the belly dancer. The student will also learn:- how make-up color changes under stage lighting
- hairstyles
for belly dance
- how to use hair accessories and jewelry
- how to select proper costumes according to the various dances
- about
the components that make up belly dance costumes
Please bring make-up, hairbrush/comb, a mirror & paper/pen for notes.
Light refreshments will be served.
Special pre-registration rate of $40.00 is due by July 7, 2008. Thereafter, regular registration rate
of $45.00 is due for admission to the workshop. All fees are non-refundable and/or non-transferable unless workshop cancelled
